About Us

At our federation, our mission is to bring together martial arts styles from every culture and background under one global organisation. We believe in the values of unity, inclusivity, and respect for all martial art traditions, fostering growth, development, and mutual understanding.

This world federation serves as a platform to share knowledge, uphold traditions, and champion an interconnected future for martial artists worldwide. We host national, regional, continental, and international competitions that include all martial arts, and any martial artist can participate in the discipline of their choice.

Our championships include the following categories: Children (8–13 years), Cadet 1 (14–15 years), Cadet 2 (16–17 years), Juniors (18–20 years), Seniors (21–40 years), Veterans (41–55 years), and Masters (55+ years).

The Martial Arts currently under the UWMAF are:
1. Karate – 3 formats: Shonbu Sanbon, Traditional Bogu, and Full Contact (Kumite and Kata).
2. Kung Fu – Traditional and Taichi.
3. Kobudo – All long and short weapons from all martial arts disciplines.
4. Kickboxing – Light Contact and Full Contact.
5. Jujitsu – Traditional and Sport.
6. Krav Maga.
7. Qwankido.
8. Silumbam.

UWMAF is currently represented in 75 countries across 5 continents.
